History-
The state of Connecticut Banking Department on May 7th, 1973 licensed Credit C.H.H. Credit
Union, Inc. The initial field of membership included only those employees of
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and their immediate families. Today all
employees of healthcare facilities in the northwest corner of the state are eligible to
join our credit union.
The original credit union "office" consisted of a briefcase and usually a card table set up in the most convenient (and out of the way) location. Today several moves later the credit union is located in the Memorial Building on the third floor. The Memorial Building is adjacent to the main entrance of Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
We have grown from a share and loan operation to one of many
services most recently making CU Online (a home banking
product) available to our members. To date we have issued over 16
million dollars in loans to our members.

The C.H.H. Credit Union, Inc. is a non-profit member owned financial organization.
Our goal is to provide the best possible personalized financial services while maintaining
financial stability.
